You’ll come back! A nice little resort. Nice pool with swim-up bar, restaurant/bar on site, and great hosts! Jordan, the owner’s daughter, was a great host, bartender and cook!

Great Get Away in Roatan Wonderful boutique property in a tropical garden setting gives the feel of a private oasis with pool, swim up bar and outdoor covered restaurant. Still minutes away from West End with transportation so very easy to stay at Guava Grove and dive with operators in West End. Cheryl and her daughter Jordan were wonderful hosts and made sure we had coffee and a light breakfast before our morning dives which we enjoyed on our porch. Access to an outdoor clothes line for all our wet gear was a bonus. Highly recommend Guava Grove.

Jungle Oasis minutes from the beach My husband & I and friends stayed .2 weeks Rooms were clean & bright. Water jugs &dispenser with treated water.( tap water is from an artesian well we drank it) Jugs are for skeptics. Pool & swim up bar always inviting! The food in the onsite grill was phenomenal. My favs were Conch fritters, ALL ceviches( best Ive ever had) red snapper. My husband also loved their homemade burgers & hand cut fries. The grounds were lush& green with tropical flowers everywhere.

A great getaway Fantastic place to work remotely during our week long stay. The room was bright and fresh with a fantastic view. Staff was proactive and took care of our every need. It wasn’t too loud or hectic, the perfect balance if entertainment and quiet getaway. Everyone at the location was always cheerful and ready to share a beer and a story. Cheryl and Murray are the perfect hosts. And we wanted for nothing during our stay. Great price, clean and close to ocean restaurants and the west end. Thanks Cheryl and Murray!

Perfect getaway place Spent a week working remote at this gem of a resort. The place is honestly perfect. Just the right balance of activity and privacy. The pool is wonderful to cool off after a hot day or working or exploring and the beer and food are well priced and plentiful. The staff is fantastic and the hosts have created a culture of respect. The locarmtion us minutes from the beach, laundry, other restaurants and the main road to town where you can grab a cab easily. Quiet and safe, the only thing missing us a house dog ha ha. A great option to work or relax at

Highly recommended Stayed with family for 2 week s at this beautiful place that has a perfect location for everyone.. the hotel is surrounded by tropical well maintained gardens .. you can walk 5 min to the great snorkelling at Sandy bay that also has 2 great restaurants , and easy take the bus 5 min West end .. Their own restaurant has really tasty food to good prices and Cheryl the owner prepares both really good cocktails and breakfast .. the staff is really freindly and helpful and you can easy get stuck hanging in the poolbar for hours chatting with the freindly bartender or the welcoming owners themselves ..The owners are very helpful with any information and tips and tricks so you get the most out of your Roatan vacation .. If you planning a trip to Roatan I highly recommend this hotel for everyone : families couples groups lone traveller .. no one will be dissapointed .. thank you Cheryl and Murray for making our vacation so great .. When an overnight stay turned into 3 days we lucked out. This little hotel near the beach at Sandy Bay is a gem. We planned to stay one night and catch the ferry to Utila but Tropical Storm Sylvia made it three days. This boutique property in Sandy Bay has a great pool bar and restaurant and very comfortable rooms but the “secret sauce “ is the on site owner Cheryl who treated us as part of family, and personally saw to it that all our needs were met. Great place, great food, great people.

A beautiful experience Staying at Guava Grove was a beautiful experience.the grounds were well kept and beautiful and the location was convenient. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff went out of their way to make our trip special. Catering to my dietary needs, giving us advice on our outings and checking in to see if we needed anything. Cheryl, the owner is simply a beautiful person who cares about her guests and the grounds of the hotel. Thank you for a beautiful stay

Lovely place to stay in paradise! Guava Grove was such a nice place to stay. I was traveling with a friend and Cheryl made our stay a delight. She was helpful with anything we needed and always around if we had questions or wanted a suggestion. I would absolutely stay here again. There is a great beach just across the street, and great views form the top of the hill where the pool is.

Had a wonderful time in the oasis on the hill! ☺ Cheryl has created at oasis amongst the hilltop. The buildings are charming and surrounded by beautiful flowers and fruit trees. It’s a very peaceful place perfect for travelers of all kinds. The staff are super welcoming and the food is divine! Get the Lemongrass chicken and thank me later. ☹ All was great

Very Good ☺ The owner is a native English speaker and she was super nice. The bed was very comfortable and the AC worked great. Having free purified water was a plus. The pool area is nice. For Roatan, it was a good value for what you get. ☹ The free breakfast was pretty much “take it or leave it” and was the typical breakfast here in Honduras. Some options and a little menu would have been nice. My shower water never got above lukewarm, which was ok since Roatan is so hot, but hot water to soothe my aching muscles would have been nice. The location isn’t great, but there’s nothing they can do about that. The restaurant is shockingly expensive ($22 for a burger and smoothie) but I guess that’s on par with Roatan tourist restaurant prices.

A quite relaxing spot and a good value. ☺ Guava Grove is a nice location, the owner who operates the villas is really nice and does a great job connecting with her guests dailly. The grounds are nicely kept and there is a really nice calm pool with a swim up bar and restaurant. Many units also have small kitchens so you can shop and prepare your own meals if that’s your thing. ☹ If you’re planning to get around the island a bit you’ll need either a car or plan on using taxis. It’s not remote but also not walking distance to a lot of spots like the West End or West Bay. I wouldn’t call this a “dislike” but something to keep in mind.

First time in Roatan for my daughter and me. Decided to stay at Guava Grove (GG) as I’m not a late night, touristy crowd person. GG met all my expectations: clean room with kitchenette (great for making our salads) and laundry line, lovely grounds with a variety of fruit trees, different delicious breakfasts daily with coffee and lemongrass tea at the poolside restaurant where we were entertained by Boomer the cat’s hunting prowess. Beach is close and we were able to snorkel the reef many times. We walked to Carambola Gardens, museum at Anthony’s Key, Bodden animal sanctuary, and easily caught both the bus and taxi to West End. GG’s owner Cheryl is so very helpful and kind, she arranged transportation when we needed it, gave us great recommendations for activities (Cory’s night snorkel), fed us early for a tour pickup, provided beach towels and fins, and was just fun to talk to; it was like we were staying with a friend. In fact, all the people we interacted with were warm and spoke English; we thoroughly enjoyed our vacation!

Worked remote for a week and the stay was absolutely fantastic. The hosts Cheryl and Murray were so accommodating it made our time their pure heaven. The room was perfect and the balcony allowed me to take my conference calls with a view of the pool and ocean. The staff took great care of us and was always ready with a beverage and a story. The location is perfect as a hideaway only a couple minutes from the beach, laundry or other dining choices. The main road is right out the main gate where you can hail a cab to go to west end. Honesty great view, great food and specials, and great people at a great price. Not surprising that we had a great time.

Thanks again to Cheryl and Murray for starting our first trip to Honduras off in such a good way! We really enjoyed beginning and ending our trip at Guava Grove because we instantly felt welcome to the Sandy Bay area and could also walk to many of the other areas that we wanted to visit on the island. Our room was great for our short stay, but we especially loved the gardens!

Quiet little spot far enough away from the more touristy areas full of the cruise people so its more chill vibes. Rooms were comfortable and kept clean. Food was delicious and fair priced. Was there for a week and I’m pretty sure we had a different breakfast every day. Always had a new daily special for drinks and food. Nice pool with a swim up bar. Its just a gorgeous property. Its close enough to take a super quick cab to go to the more busy beach. That is nicer than the one in walking distance but is way more busy. The one in walking distance is is nice once you get past the sea grass. I’d recommend Grand Blu which is close by down the beach (review in a review) Best thing about this place was the owners. Cheryl and Murray were so friendly. They treated us and everyone there like guests in their homes. They were so accommodating, and had awesome recommendations on places to go and stuff to try. When I get a chance to go to Roatan again my wife and I will definitely be coming back
