We are located in Sandy Bay, Roatán, Honduras — just minutes from popular attractions, beaches, and West End nightlife.

Are there TVs in the rooms?

No, our rooms are designed for relaxation and connection with nature. However, we offer high-speed WiFi if you wish to stream on your personal device.

Are you a family friendly resort?

Yes! Families are welcome. We have a pool, spacious villas, and activities nearby for all ages.

Do you have security on site?

At Guava Grill, your safety is a priority. We operate with private security personnel and round‑the‑clock CCTV coverage in all public areas to ensure a safe, comfortable environment for you and your family.

Yes! Guava Grill Pool Bar & Restaurant is open to both hotel guests and the public!

Is the pool open daily?

Yes, to our hotel guests the pool is open daily! We ask all guests to wait until 7:30AM as our pool is treated at 6AM Mon-Sat.

Do you offer WiFi?

Yes, complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the property.

Is there parking available?

Free parking is available for all guests.

Can I charge food/drink to my room?

For our guests staying 5+ nights, we offer an ongoing tab service instead of pay as you go! Let us know at check-in and we will pour you a cocktail right away!

Check-in is from 3:00 PM and check-out is at 11:30 AM.

Yes, a deposit may be required at booking to secure your stay.

How do I make changes to a third party reservation?

While we are more than happy to assist with any questions or requests, changes to bookings made through third-party sites (such as Expedia or Booking.com) must be managed directly through that platform.

Do you offer airport or ferry transportation to/from the hotel?

Yes, we can arrange airport or ferry transfers for an additional fee. Please book in advance.

Where can we get a rental car?

THROUGH US! We offer our guests with car rental services for any part of your stay making exploring the island easy!

How far is Guava Grove from the airport?

We are approximately 20 minutes from Roatán’s Juan Manuel Gálvez International Airport.

What activities are available nearby?

Guests can enjoy snorkeling, diving, zip-lining, kayaking, dolphin encounters, fishing, and exploring Roatán’s beaches.

Do you offer tours & excursions?

Yes! We have both full day & half day tours that allow you to explore the island with a guide!

How far is the beach from Guava Grove?

Sandy Bay beach is a 3 minute walk from our property! Just follow the concrete road just across the street to have sand on your feet.

GENERAL:
Will I need bug spray?

Yes, we recommend bringing reef-safe, oil-based insect repellent made with natural ingredients. Mosquitoes and sandflies can be present, particularly around sunrise and sunset.

What currencies are accepted?

Roatan accepts both U.S. dollars (USD) and Honduran lempiras (HNL). There are no official currency exchange services on the island, so we recommend bringing enough with you or using the ATMs, which will dispense local currency. ***If you do bring cash, bring small denominations in pristine condition; no tears or marks, as the banks will not accept damaged bills.

What languages are spoken on the island?

Both English and Spanish are widely spoken on Roatan Island. Most tour guides will speak English, while you will get to practice your Spanish with taxi drivers and local vendors!

Can I drink the tap water?

Brushing your teeth with tap water is safe, but we do not recommend drinking it. We provide purified drinking water in every room and encourage guests to bring reusable water bottles to minimize plastic waste.
